Thanks to my mother-in-law, this is my new summer favourite.
A lassi is essentially an Indian smoothie. Apparently in India they know how to make damn good smoothies. I’m warning you right now, this is not low fat and probably isn’t the healthiest way to get your vitamin C, but it’s fucking delicious and you should try it.
The measurements below are for one lassi, because I have a one cup blender, so multiply by however many you’d like to make.
-1-2 mangoes (Depending on size, you want to fill about 3/4 of your cup with fruit)
-1 tbsp honey
-1/4 cup plain greek yogurt (vanilla will work, too)-1 tsp cardamom (maybe two, depending on your taste)
-Half and half cream (can be subbed for heavy cream, or milk, depending on whether you want it really creamy or thinner)
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Try to breathe in between sips of heaven.
